Steve Wigington
Senior Pastor
Our Pastor, Steve Wigington, has a very strong sense of duty, which is very evident in his leadership and care of Cool Springs. Steve served as a Marine, had a long career as a public servant, and still continues to serve our Church family as senior pastor, a position he has held since 2013. Both Steve and Cool Springs are blessed that he has had his wife Ginger (formally Densmore) to support him for over 40’s. They have called Cool Springs their church home since 2003.

Dawson Martin
Youth Pastor
Dawson Martin, an ordained minister, has been a part of the Cool Springs family since he was 4 years old. He has based his life on godly morals and wants to lead youth by walking in truth. Joining him in ministry is his wife, Bailey Martin. Bailey has a genuine love for young people, a nurturing spirit, and a commitment to helping teens grow in their faith. Together, they are a team excited and ready to lead and disciple our youth.
Marlou Kapelet
Children's Ministry Director

Cool Springs is lucky to have Marlou Kapelet as Director of our Children’s Ministry, though we know she ministers to all our families. Marlou has a BA in Education from Florida Bible College and has worked in both the public and private education system over 30 years. Marlou, her husband Mark, and their two boys have been members of CSBC since moving to the Pickens County area.
Brittany Wigington
Temporary Music Director
Brittany serves as the Interim Music Director, bringing a lifelong love of music and heart for worship to the role. She has been involved in church music for many years as both a vocalist and instrumentalist, and she values creating an environment where people feel comfortable, encouraged, and inspired to worship together. She believes worship should be meaningful, and she enjoys blending tradition with fresh energy to support the life of the church. Outside of music ministry, Brittany is a dedicated parent who cares deeply about serving others and building genuine connections.
Karen Maddox
Chief Financial Clerk
Karen is the true boss of CSBC, making sure we dot our i’s and cross our t’s! She also is active in other CSBC ministries when she isn’t visiting with her 8 grand-babies. Karen has served Cool Springs as Financial Clerk since 2000.
Cindy White
Administrative Assistant
We love Mrs. Cindy! As Administrative Assistant, she is a great support to all our ministries. She and her husband, Bill, also have hearts for children and missions, as they serve in our children’s programs and work in our community missions projects. Cindy is a life-long member of Cool Springs, and she and Bill have a deep, abiding love of their church and church family.
